Brie Larson

BrieBrianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born October 1st 1989) is professionally known as Brie Larson is an American actress. Her supporting roles in comedy as a teenager was her specialty, however she has since gone on to star in major blockbusters and independent films. Larson has been awarded several awards, including the Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and the Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the 100 most influential people on the planet for the year 2019. Larson was admitted at age 6 to the American Conservatory Theater's schooling program. Her acting career began in 1998, when she appeared in a comedy sketch on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. In 2001, she appeared as an actor in the show Raising Dad. She also briefly tried out a career in music, with the release of the album Finally Out of P.E. in 2005. Larson played supporting roles in the comedy movies Hoot (2006) as well as Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012). In 2009, Larson also appeared as the sardonic Tara character in the tv series United States of Tara (2009-2011). Larson continued to take on supporting roles in The Spectacular Here (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). Larson was nominated to win the Academy Award as Best Actress for her role as a kidnapping victim during the drama Room (2015). The adventure film of 2017 Kong: Skull Island marked her first major-budget release after which she starred as Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting with Captain Marvel (2019).
