Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 in Hereford England) is a English Singer-Songwriter. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to the catchy electro-pop tunes "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and ability to compose catchy, but emotional songs put her at the forefront for modern mainstream music, along with the art and indie pop scene. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a recording deal. Her debut album was ready for release.
