Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was also the anchor of CNN's morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. She also worked as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. During her membership for the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and congressional events such as talks to increase the federal debt limit as well as the super committee's discussion. She also worked as a general-assignment correspondent covering topics like that of the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision regarding Obamacare and the 2009 implementation of the stimulus plan. In 2007 she became a part of CNN as a correspondent for the national with CNN Newsource.
