Coleman is a Lancashire native. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and scored straight A's in her A-levels. In response to questions about her Emmerdale character, she said that it is regrettable not to have had a traditional university experience. Coleman, while still in high school, was a member of a theatrical company called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. The award was presented to her for her performance, and the production was also highly praised. Coleman was trying to get into drama schools in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was awarded two awards in the year 2007. She won The Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009 she won nominated in the two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was also nominated as Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman would as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat selected her because of how well she could work with Smith and also because she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the film industry since 1987. She is however, more recognized for her TV shows as opposed to films. Eva played many parts on the screen, but two stand out in particular: Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. The part of Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children garnered her 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to show off her musical talent. Eva is not just an actor, but also a businesswoman and philanthropist. She has been married three times, and has one daughter and a second husband.

Alia Shawkat has been a TV actor for more than 20 years. She was born on on 18th April 1989 located in Riverside California. She played Maeby in the Fox show Arrested Development, a part that won her TV Land Future Classic Award. Shawkat was one of the cast members of the film Whip It alongside Ellen Page.
